Peace Through Faith

It sometimes takes faith to move a mountain. Each one of us have experienced different points, times, and incidences that have required us to have faith in someone or something. The amount of faith we have varies, it can be small or great but it is still faith.

Faith can provide emotional support on a personal level. Having faith sometimes gives us the strength to believe that everything will turn out ok even when current situations are unpredictable.

There are lots of people and things that can and sometimes do meet our physical and emotional needs. Our spiritual needs are met through faith.

Faith is the foundation of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Sometimes faith in someone or something increases through careful observation and the weighing of all available evidence.

When someone is faithful they follow through with their promises. The Old Testament spoke of a savior who would come to save the world.

Jesus Christ is known by some as the Prince of Peace. He came to bring peace to this world. His relationship with us comes as we accept Him as our personal Lord and Savior.

He is the perfect friend. He chose us first. Our relationship is sustained because of Him and is not based on our performance.

He is an eternal gift. His relationship never changes. He forgives and restores us because He wants a lifetime relationship with us.

He is a love gift. He desires to love us through the gift of eternal life. All prophesies of the Old Testament concerning the coming of a Messiah were fulfilled with His birth. His life, death, resurrection fulfilled even more prophesies,.

.May we all find Peace Through Faith this Christmas season. Together as friends, families, and communities we all have an opportunity to celebrate His birth, so very long ago, that brought the gift of eternal peace into the world.
